Emily Pwerle, born circa 1922 in the Utopia region of the Northern Territory, Australia, is a distinguished Aboriginal artist of Anmatyerre and Alyawarre descent. Residing in the small settlement of Irrultja, approximately 300 kilometers northeast of Alice Springs, Emily is the younger sister of the renowned artist Minnie Pwerle.
