Victor Majzner
Victor Majzner, born in 1945, is a distinguished Jewish-Australian artist renowned for his vivid and surreal paintings that intricately weave color, shape, and meaning to explore themes such as spirituality, the plight of the oppressed, and environmental degradation. Majzner was born in Kazakhstan to Polish parents who had fled Europe during World War II. In 1949, the family immigrated to Israel, where Majzner spent his formative years. He pursued his passion for art at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, graduating in 1965. In 1971, he relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where he continued to develop his artistic career.
